Our Vision
The late President Nelson Mandela once said, “As long as poverty, injustice and gross inequality persist in our world none of us can truly rest.” We Mentor Students is founded as a platform and space to help young people realize their human potential while in pursuit of their career aspirations as well as being economically active. Our vision is to help create confident professionals, entrepreneurs or public servants who are committed to creating a shared wealth across different population groups with no discrimination. We are committed to sharing our expertise, experience and knowledge to help contribute towards liberated and financially free young people in South Africa and across the borders of the country.
Our Mission
According to the trading economics (2017), South African Youth unemployment rate is forecasted to be around 51.51% in 2020. Our mission is to create opportunities for the youth to be driven to develop their own organisations that will create employment and economic stimulation to help activate economic growth. There is a further opportunity to partner with the department of education and influence a differentiated curricula that enables competencies like entrepreneurship, innovation, disruption, design thinking and the likes in order to enable different thinking about the future of our economy.
